The
River
An American Indian sits on the ground beside his Gray horse
as it takes a long drink of water from a river. Across the river,
on the opposite shore, a camp is seen. The reflections of the
sun has turned the river a silver color.

Olaf Wieghorst painted around 1600 oil paintings,
3-5000 watercolors, and who knows how many drawing and sketches
during his life time. I love them all. Each painting tells a story
to me. I have hundreds of personal favorites and will be sharing
