and Commercial Art Prints

  Swift Action

This action calendar print shows a cowboy in trouble as his horse catches it’s hoof in the lariat. A 1947 Clarion calendar and a Waltzer frame tray puzzle feature this print. From the Calendar:

Swift Action - Out west where men are men but horses don’t care. Some action calls for swift reaction. The western riders of the range owe their lives to their ability to make quick decisions and take swift action. Were the rider less alert he’d never have time to get free of his stirrups. Then it would be a horse on him for his pony is on the way down. The wild horse , the cause of all the difficulty, is a perfect portrayal of fury at the prospective loss of freedom. With this calendar a toast to all freedom loving beings.
