This action packed print of a powerful wild
stallion not cooperating with these cowboys was reproduced on
heavy stock cardboard. There was an easel built into the back
of the cardboard for displaying. I purchased this and Cutting
Back as a pair. This was used to advertize Hickok Bar-H
belts. Notice the reverse of colors on the ad page.
Sizes I have found:
18 x 24 inches
From a 1946 painting titled: Brown Beauty
Oil on canvas, 30 x 40 inches
This original painting was for sale at the Butterfields Auction,
June 25, 1998, not sold. It was in a gallery in Scottsdale,
AZ, in 2001.
